死ぬ運命の演出

クレイス・ウェストンは、毒のある写真を非常に明るい照明の元に表現する。彼女の舞台装置には、必ずフィギュアがあり、ある物語を語っている。特にキューピーだったり、シンデレラだったりする。作品が物語である以上、登場人物は死ななければならない運命であるかのようだ。
■ Grace Weston is an award-winning photographer who works in her studio in Portland, Oregon. Her fine art is included in public and private collections in the United States, Europe and Japan. She is represented in Seattle by the G. Gibson Gallery, and in Portland by Augen Gallery. Her work can also be seen in the Photographer's Showcase online gallery of Photo-eye Gallery, Santa Fe, NM.
A community of artists has always been of high importance to Grace. Seeing artists develop their work and move towards their professional goals inspires her sense of possibility and optimism.
