トロフィーが届いた!
小学5年生の時に「エジソン大賞」をもらった時くらい嬉しい。その時は、しょうのう(樟脳)を使った小型舟を考案し、省エネの先駆けのような発明で学内で話題になった。今回は、ずいぶん大人っぽい賞なのだけれど、昨年はVRギャラリーから西畠清順の植物まで、振れ幅が大きすぎるで賞なのかな。とにかく嬉しいです。

My trophy has arrived!
I feel just as happy now as I did when I received the "Edison Award" in the 5th grade of elementary school. Back then, my school was buzzing with the topic of designing small boats using camphor that featured pioneering energy-saving solutions.
This award is far more grown-up than the one I received for my little boat back then!
I tried such a wide range of new ideas last year, from the VR gallery through to Seijun Nishihata’s plant event that I’m surprised these even qualified me for any kind of award! But I’m really happy to have been recognized this time.
